Yerevan, Armenia – Within the framework of cultural heritage preservation, with the full funding of the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation and the blessing of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, a summer concert series entitled “Saint Anna Summer Concert Series 2022” is being held in the plaza of St. Anna Church in Yerevan from June 10th - July 1st. The concerts will take place each Friday evening and features classical and spiritual performances by the "Tagharan" ensemble, "Hover" choir, "Komitas String Quartet" band and the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir.  “St. Anna Summer Concert Series 2022” is dedicated to the memory of the H. Hovnanian family Foundation founding president Hirair Hovnanian and his wife Anna Hovnanian.

Two well-attended concerts have already taken place namely with "Tagharan" ensemble  on June 10th and on June 17th with "Hover" Choir. Looking forward the performances of "Komitas String Quartet" will take place on June 24th and the final concert highlighting "Little Singers of Armenia" is scheduled for July 1st. The concerts, open to the public free of charge will start at 6pm and run for approximately one hour and a half.

Also within the framework of the Armenian cultural heritage preservation, the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation has implemented numerous projects, including the restoration of Saghmosavank, Dadivank and Katoghike Surb Astvatsatsin churches.  Over the past few years the Foundation has awarded grants to several non-profit entities active in the arts, namely Matenadaran Foundation for miniature art classes for young students, Naregatsi Art Center for singing, painting, carpet weaving and pottery classes, Theatre Workers Union of Armenia for theatrical festivals in the regions of Armenia, NVAK Inc. in support of professional mentorship of young talent in music and the arts.

Since the Foundation’s establishment in 1986, H. Hovnanian Family Foundation has contributed to hundreds of initiatives and projects for charitable, educational, scientific, cultural, and other related purposes with a primary focus on assisting Armenian communities worldwide as well as organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties in the state of New Jersey.
